My wife asked me to create a few galaxies for her after introducing me to the Shinda sim. At that location, I saw amazing sights of ateroids, comets, planets, and a giant galaxy. I hopped on over to the nasa sight and started looking for some galaxies for her. I found a pinwheel galaxy (Messier 101) and started separating the colors into different channels and creating a transparancy for each one. It looks pretty interesting once it was brought in-world and each channel was rotating slowly at different rates. Wow. From Dedric Mauriac via bloghud.com
